Master Quest Root 2

Master Quest Root 2 is the first (half-respectable) Super Mario 64 ROM hack I released. The romhacking.com description reads:

My first hack, featuring three smaller courses and a Bowser level. Nothing fancy, mostly just trying to get used to modelling and stuff.

Although she is not listed as an author on romhacking.com, Hoppiper actually made about half of this. You see, most of the purpose of this hack was to trick Cavin. When Hoppiper and I sat down to make Disaster Quest π, I had asked Cavin to be free the next day so I could show him a surprise project. Since Disaster Quest π (unsurprisingly) was not actually going to be finished in time, Hoppiper and I pivoted to making a tiny hack to show Cavin.

This levels of this hack were later remixed in the Disaster Quest π stage "Root of Your Problems". There is a kaizo remake of this hack in development which is mostly done–I think we're just waiting for Hoppiper to finish the boss level.
